Edward Frederick Schuller , 79

Edward Frederick Schuller Mr. Edward Frederick Schuller, age 79, of Wayne Twp. passed away at the Butler Memorial Hospital on Wednesday at 3:32 pm.

Ed was born on April 24, 1929 to the late George, & Rose Schell Schuller in Ellwood City. He had lived on the same road all of his life. Mr. Schuller was a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1947. He enlisted into the United States Army on March 28, 1951 and served until July 12, 1951 with the rank of private. Ed worked at the Aetna Standard Engineering Co. in Ellwood City for 35 years retiring in 1986, and was employed by the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. for 35 years helping in all aspects of funeral service with our firm. He was member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ellwood City where he held all church council positions , was a Sunday School Teacher and surperintendent . Mr. Schuller was also a member of the American Legion Post 157, the Ellwood City Saxons Club branch 45, and a past member of the Veterans Honor Guard. Along with being an American Red Cross blood donor, having donated over 40 gallons of blood, Ed enjoyed mowing grass, hunting, farming, and spending time with his family. Mr. Schuller was a hard working , dedicated family man who will be missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.

Ed is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Paul Schuller whom he married on March 3, 1951, two daughters and one son in law ; Beth Ann, & Stephen Wyszomierski, and Karen Schuller both of Wayne Twp., 3 sons & 2 daughter in laws ; Edward "Butch",& Denise Schuller of Rockford, ILL., Jamie Schuller, & Rene Baldwin , and Dean Schuller of Wayne Twp., five grand children ; Megan, Courtney, Rachel Schuller, Ross & Mark Wyszomierski, one great grandson: Thomas Jordan, a sister in law ; Junie Schuller of Hudson, FLA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Schuller was preceded in death by a brother George "Bud" Schuller, and 3 sisters ; Rose Paal, Katherine Jenkins, and Eleanor Punzell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7 - 9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc., and Monday from 11 am til Noon at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ellwood City.

Services for Ed F. Schuller will be held on Monday at Noon at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Carol Fleeger officiating. Internment will follow at the Slippery Rock Church Cemetery. Members of the Veterans Honor Guard are asked to meet at the cemetery on Monday by 12:30 pm to conduct full military rites.

Beth, Steve, Ross, and Mark,
I was so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He was
such a friendly and well liked man; also a very well known face in the community. He will be missed by so many, especially his family.
I know how close you all were and I feel for you so in your loss.

Betty, Karen, Jaime, Rene and Family,
