Anna Miskolcze , 95

Our precious mother, Anna Miskolcze, 95, formerly of Ellport went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle.

She was married to William Miskolcze, Sr. for more than 60 years. William passed away in January of 2002. She was a school crossing guard in Ellport and worked at Cully's restaurant for 17 years. She was along time active member and Deacon of the Ellport Presbyterian Church. She belonged to the Women's Auxillary of the Hungarian Home. She was an excellent cook and loved to crochet. She enjoyed music, dancing and singing Hungarian songs. Most important to her was spending time with her family and friends. Her closest friend was Martha Pocza of Ellwood City.

She is survived by her children, a daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Shirley & Robert Hegedus of Ellport, and a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. William & Barbara Miskolcze of Beaver Falls, and a sister Rose Plosinski of Beaver Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Takacs, her brothers, Steve, Alex, and John Takacs, and a sister, Carrie Tusaie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 20, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 10-11am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc..

Services will be held at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Teresa Kendall and Pastor Kenneth Myer officiating. Internment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
