Marion Zona , 69

Marion Zona Mrs. Marion Zona, age 69, of 102 Field st., Fombell, Pa passed away at the Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh on Thursday at 6:07 am following a brief illness.

Marion was born on June 11, 1939 in Grove City, Pa to the late Louis Husing and Hazel M. Franz Husing of Brighton Twp.. Mrs. Zona attended Lincoln High School , and a member of the Holy Redeemer Church. She also was a home maker who enjoyed playing bingo and being with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Zona is survived by her husband Frank W. Zona whom she married on June 1, 1957, her mother Hazel M. Husing of Brighton Twp., two daughters and son in laws ; Joann, Brian Britton of North Sewickley Twp., and Debbie, Michael Gretch of Franklin Twp., two sons and 1 daughter in law : Frank H. & Audrey Zona of Wayne Twp., and Nicholas F. Zona of Fombell, seven grandchildren; Dawn, Sheila Zona, Ashley Barnes, Susan, Jimmy Britton, Will, Melissa Gretch, and two great grandchildren James Sager, Chase Farone, two brothers; Richard, Nancy Husing of Perry Twp., Rodger, Sandy Husing of Wampum, and three sisters ; Shirley, Franklin Fisher of California, Sylvia, Bob Johnson of Florida, and Kathy, Mike Symbala of Enon Valley.

Marion was preceded in death by her father and one son Ken W. Zona who passed away on June 4, 2007, and a sister Roxanne Cirelli.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc.

A mass of christian burial for Mrs. Zona will be held on Saturday August 23, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church. Internment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday by 9:20 am as the procession to church will begin to leave at 9:30 am.
