Mrs. Frances M. Butch , 88
Mrs. Frances M. Butch, age 88, passed away at the Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle on Tuesday at 9:40 pm.
Mrs. Butch was born on Jan. 11, 1920 to the late Sisto Pica and Mary Joseph Pica, in Ellwood City, Pa. She married Dominick Butch on April 27, 1939, who preceded her in death on May 30, 2003. Frances was a home maker, a member of the Holy Redeemer Church, and enjoyed collecting Owl figurines, sewing, doing crafts, and cooking.
Mrs. Butch is Survived by 2 daughters, Mary Ann Marino of West Pittsburgh, and Patricia L. Kraynak of Ellwood City, 1 son Ronald and his wife Vicky Butch of Franklin Twp., 2 sisters Edith & James Rosaci , and Evelyn McCowin both of Ellwood City, three grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Frances M. Butch was preceded in death by her son Carmen Butch in 2003, a grand daughter Camille Butch 2007, two brothers Tony & George Pica, and one sister Clara Stephenson.
Calling hours are private for the family.
A private Blessing service will be held on Thursday at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. with Father Lou Pascazi officiating . Internemnt will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
