Mrs. Margot H. Hamilton, 79, of 123 Grim Ave., Ellport passed away at her daughters residence on Thursday January 28, 2010 at 4:45 am.
Mrs. Hamilton was born on February 14, 1930 in Berlin Germany to the late Otto Pohle and Martha Gratias Pohle. Margot graduated from high school in Germany. She had worked at the Ellwood Knitting Mill as a seamstress , and was an Avon Lady in the Ellwood City area for 10 years. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, and a past member of the Polish White Eagles ladies auxiliary in Chewton. Also, Margot enjoyed swimming, gardning, sewing, and knitting.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by one daughter and son in law; Jaqueline & Wesley Eidenmiller of Wayne Twp., one son and daughter in law; Clifford D. & Bonnie French of Mercer, twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward G. Hamilton Jr. whom she married on November 7, 1970 and passed away on March 15, 2008, and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 2, 2010 from 10 am until the time of services at Noon at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc..
Services will be held on Tuesday at Noon at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley officiating. Internment will be at the Wurtemburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
