Abby Annette (Mylin) Foley,41, of 41 Penns Landing, Selinsgrove, Pa, passed away peacefully in the arms of her family at 4:30 pm Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, where she had been a patient since August.
She was born June 23, 1967, in Lancaster, the daughter of Barbara and John c. Mylin IV, who survive. In addition to her parents of New Columbia, she is survived by a sister, Carla Hornback, of Berwick; a brother John C. Mylin and his wife , Miriam of Bloomsburg ; nieces Katherine Hornback, of Williamsburg, VA ; Margaret Ruth Mylin, of Bloomsburg; and Sara & Jessica Schombert, of Ellwood City ; a nephew John C. Mylin VI, of Bloomsburg, all of whom she loved dearly.
Abby is also survived by her husband, William V. Foley, formerly of Ellport, whom she married Sept. 28, 1991. She is also survived by her father and mother -in-law, William D. & Rita A. Foley of Ellport; brothers in law , Robert, Neil, and Daniel Foley of Ellport, Sean Foley of Tarentum; and sister-in-law and her husband, Renee & Kevin Schombert of Ellwood City.
Abby graduated in 1985 from Mifflinburg Area High School, and in 1989 from Lock Haven University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Dec. 30, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. ,309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City.
A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Lou Pascazi, will be held on Wednesday Dec. 31, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Wednesday by 9:20am as the Procession to church will begin to leave at 9:30am .
Abby will rest at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Ellwood City.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions in the Name of Abby Mylin Foley can be sent to her childhood library, Herr Memorial Library, 500 Market St., Mifflinburg, Pa 17844.

You know you have all of our love, prayers, and support. Abby was much loved and she will be missed. Heaven has gained a new angel to watch over all of us. You continue to be in our prayers and we love you.
