Mr. Raymond E. Peters, age 61, of 116 John Brown St., Beaver Falls passed away at his residence on Tuesday morning at 8:00 am.
Ray was born on October 20, 1947 in Ellwood City to the late Raymond M. Peters and Lucetta Remler Peters . A member of the Riverside High School class of 1965, Ray worked for the Townsend Textrone from 1967 top 1986 as a furnace operator, then for Burns Inc. as a security guard in Shippingport at the Nuclear Power Plant for 12 years, and finally with Maverick Tube in West Mayfield. Also, Mr. Peters was a police officer for North Sewickley Twp. for 29 years. A member of the Park Gate Baptist Church, Ray enjoyed hunting and being with his grandchildren.
Mr. Peters is survived by his wife Keneen Dodds Peters whom he married on May 14, 1966, four daughters and son in laws, Jodi & Mark Beres of South Beaver Twp., Robin & Ray Patton of North Sewickley Twp., Jamie & Paul Radvansky of Franklin Twp., Alicia & Tom Rapp of North Sewickley Twp., one son and his wife, Raymond Paul & Gretchen Peters of Fombell, 13 grandchildren , Emily Beres, Laura & Marissa Patton, Amber & Rachael Radvansky, Courtney & Kyleigh Cotton, Samantha Emma Edmund & Eleanor Rapp, Garrett & Reagan Peters. Two brothers and their spouses, Rodney & Mary Jane Peters of North Sewickley Twp., Kevin & Tina Peters of New Beaver Twp..
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and on Friday from 10 to 11 am at the Park Gate Baptist Church.
Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the Park gate Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Langelli officiating. Internment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
