Mrs. Mary A. Totera Pecoraro, age 91, of 945 Border Ave. ( formerly Crescent Ave., ) Ellwood City passed away at the Ellwood City Hospital on Wednesday at 12:49 pm.
Mrs. Pecoraro was born on January 30, 1917 in Beaver Falls to the late Joseph Totera and Josephin Perrott Totera. A home maker , Mary attended Beaver Falls High School, and was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church. Mary was an artist, and ejoyed sewing, crocheting, was a great cook and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include two daughters, Norma & William Cade of Huntsville, AL, and Jo Ann & Dennis Landers of Beaver Falls, three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Pecoraro was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor M. Pecoraro whom she married on May 28, 1941 and passed away on December 15, 2003, and a sister Florence Pecoraro.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc..
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at the Holy Redeemer church . Internment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Monday by 9:20 am as the procession to church will begin to leave at 9:30 am.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Holy Redeemer Church Angel Fund.
Norma, JoAnn, and families, you have our sincere sympathies in the loss of your mom. She was such a sweet lady, and so funny. I am sure they are all up in heaven having a lot of laughs
