Jean O. Aniceti , 84

Jean O. Aniceti Mrs. Jean O. Coccia Aniceti, age 84, of 221 Franklin Ave., Ellwood City passed away at the Ellwood City Hospital Friday evening at 7:13 pm.

Jean was born on October 26, 1924 to the late Marino Coccia and Anna Zona Coccia in Ellwood City. She attended Lincoln High School, and was a member of the Holy Redeemer church, along with being a member of the Holy Redeemer Church Christian Mothers, Corona D'Italia, and the Golden Ager's. Also, Mrs. Aniceti had worked at the Ellwood Knitting Mill for 16 years as a seamstress. She enjoyed playing bingo,& cards, and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years Alfred M. Aniceti whom she married on August 9, 1948, one daughter and son in law, Anna Marie & Wayne Renkin of Dormont, Pa, one son Ronald Aniceti of Ellwood City, two brothers and one sister in law, Rudolph Coccia, and Richard & Patricia Coccia both of Ellwood City, two sisters, Elsie Marsano of Ellwood City, Frances Ameli of Bluefield West Virginia, one grandchild, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Gregory Aniceti in infancy, a brother Albert Coccia, and a brother in law Amey Marsano.

Visitation for Mrs. Aniceti will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home Inc.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Lou Pascazi officiating. Internment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday by 9:20 am as the procession to church will begion to leave at 9:30 am. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Tuesday by 9:45 am to form an honor guard.

We have a lot of nice memories of Aunt Jean and we'll miss her. The last time I saw and talked to her was, unfortunately, at David's funeral. I've uploaded the picture that I took of her and Uncle Al on the porch when we were leaving.
